The first time I visited the Finger Lakes in upstate New York, I tried a wine slushy at a popular vineyard and I was sold. I heard family members raving about them years ago, but I wasn’t a believer until I actually got to try one for myself. They are delicious and refreshing, especially in the middle of a hot summer.
The best thing is that you don’t have to travel to a winery to enjoy a wine slushy because you can easily make it right at home. Sip on a wine slushy right on your front porch, out on your back deck, or by the pool, if you are lucky enough to have one. How relaxing! Drink it outside though, because nothing says summer is here quite like a nice cold wine slushy. I used moscato in this recipe but any white wine you have at home will do. The peaches and raspberries in this recipe make this wine slushy slightly tart but also oh so sweet. This will be one of the only drinks you will want to make all summer long!
Not sure what else to do with your frozen peaches, other than to make more wine slushies? Try our Sunrise Smoothie for breakfast! It is delicious. If you want to learn more about the health benefits of wine, check out our other post here.
